Episode 1: Sweeps Week

Brief Synopsis

A series of murders plaguing the jocks and bullies of a local high school leads the characters to a startling discovery: the killers are television characters!

Great Quotes:

Katrina (Kat) Donovan: The new Slayer

(with tears in her eyes): "I can't even get a date with a nerd!!!"

(To her Watcher): "You know, this slaying stuff is really cutting into my social life."

Walter (Demon Hunter): Where did you learn to fight vampires like that?
Kat: Gym class.
Walter: They give you stakes in gym class?
Kat: In mine they do.

(To Watcher, regarding five "Chica" vamps about to feed on four kids): "What do you want me to do about it!?"

(After Regis Philbin says to Keith, "I'm sorry, your final answer was wrong," and winks at her through the television) "Okay, I'm, like, insane now?"

Anita Blake, The Watcher
(Yes, she really is modeled after that Anita Blake)

(To Kat): "You know, I'm your legal guardian. I can ground you."

(On seeing Xena, Warrior Princess trying to kill Brian and Diego): "That...it...no...she's a vampire, right? Or a demon or something?"
Director (in response): "Nope, she's Xena: Warrior Princess."

(Trying to stop Keith): "I slap off the TV."
Director: He clicks it back on
Anita: I slap it back off
Director: He clicks it back on
Anita (to Kat): GRAB HIM OR SOMETHING! (to Director): I slap it back off.

(Realizing that their new demon-hunter ally is dying, Anita makes a Necromancy roll to keep him alive): "Not yet. Come back."

Jon, Former Initiative Agent

Kat (not knowing about the Initiative): How do you know about the Slayer!?
Jon: I was a combat engineer in the marine corps.
Kat: And they know about the Slayer?
Jon: Yeah...sure.

(On the phone with Anita, exasperated): "Um...Captain Kirk just beamed the 2 kids out of their living room."

(Seeing Duncan MacLeod walking down the street, twirling his katana): "You have got to be kidding me."

(Upon realizing his guns don't double their damage against the homonculi): "Oh, great."

(To Brian and Diego, who are hiding behind a couch): "Why don't you guys...RUN!?"

Walter, the demon hunter

Duncan MacLeod: I am Duncan MacLeod, of the Clan MacLeod.
Walter (who has never seen Highlander): Um...I'm happy for you.

Great moments:

After Xena hurls her chakram at Jon, Jon dodges by hitting the ground, rolling a somersault, and coming back to his feet face-to-face with her, his guns right in her face (all John Woo-like). He opens up with both guns. Anita, who has just disarmed Xena, uses a Drama Point to avoid taking muzzle flash in the face.

Anita, frustrated that she can't seem to stake or grapple a vampire, throws her hands up in exasperation...and punches the vamp in the face.

Anita and Walter body tackle one of the Chicas into the sunlight and lay on her till she immolates.

Walter, facing the Terminator all by his lonesome, spends a Drama Point and fires his shotgun into the barrel of the Terminator's shotgun in hopes of buying Brian and Diego some time. The Terminator would then pull out a Big Ass Pistol and shoot the demon hunter square in the chest, dropping him. Anita saves the day by using her Necromancy metaphysics to pull a Christopher Walken maneuver from the Prophecy: "Not yet. Come back."
